Multidisciplinary activities
The representation of conflicting interests is prohibited for attorneys at law and patent attorneys as a result of professional regulations (Section 43a Paragraph 4 BRAO or Section 39a Paragraph 4 PAO). Prior to accepting a retainer, we therefore always check if there is a conflict of interests.

Out-of-court conflict resolution
In the event of disputes between lawyers and their clients, extrajudicial mediation at the appropriate regional bar association for the respective lawyer may be requested (in accordance with Section 73 Paragraph 2 Clause 3 in conjunction with Section 73 Paragraph 5 BRAO), or at the conciliation board of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers (Section 191 et seq.
